Happy Hour at the Humphreys!

Every now and then we like to treat ourselves to a delicious fancy cheeses board. Because come on - who doesn’t love fancy cheese?!

First, we roam the local shops and look for products we have never tried before. It’s like traveling to another part of the world from our very own kitchen. This is a really fun way to feel celebratory and festive without actually going anywhere. 😉 I recommend adding some charcuterie and olives to the mix as well.

To help us remember which is which, we like to cut off the labels and save the ones that are our favorites. In this photo, we have four different cheese styles. A fashionable plate of creamy deliciousness! This was such fun and I can’t wait to do it again.

Left to right:

  • Catamount Hills Cheese: hard, Italian-style cheese with Swiss and parmesan flavors - yum!

  • Mitica Mahón Cheese: somewhere between a soft and hard cheese with a sharp, nutty flavor.

  • Spring Koe Gouda: creamy Gouda with amazing butteriness.

  • Brebirousse D'Argental Cheese: super creamy sheep’s milk cheese, so rich in flavor!
